Susan GOldberg BSN RN/CRNA

Susan is the owner of Seaside Aesthetics, LLC. She has been a lifelong resident of the North Shore of Boston. Susan graduated from Swampscott High School, then attended Boston College, School of Nursing, where she obtained a BSN, RN degree. Susan then went on in her education to become a Nurse Anesthetist. She attended Tufts New England Medical Center School of Nurse Anesthesia from 1979 to 1981. Susan stayed on staff at Tufts Anesthesia Department and worked as a clinical instructor in the Nurse Anesthesia Program.

After marrying her husband, Dr. Larry Goldberg, Susan moved back to Marblehead and began working at the North Shore Medical Center where she practiced anesthesia for 25 years. After sustaining an injury, Susan made a career change into the Medical Aesthetic field in 2010. Her passion for personalized client care is displayed through her warm and inviting personality. Since 2010 Susan has built an impressive clientele and reputation in the area, as one of the North Shore’s finest medical aesthetics providers.

Susan is a mother and grandmother and loves being involved with her family and friends. She loves the outdoors, swimming, yoga and being in nature. She is an excellent cook, bridge player and is actively involved with community life and services.

Larry Goldberg md

Dr. Larry Goldberg is a general and vascular surgeon who has been practicing medicine for nearly 40 years. Dr. Goldberg completed his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University. He attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine - Yeshiva University, graduating class of 1977. Dr. Goldberg then completed his residency and fellowship at Tufts Medical Center in the early 1980s. He is also affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital and North Shore Medical Center.

Dr. Larry Goldberg previously co-owned the Vein Institute of the North Shore in Beverly, MA and will now be offering sclerotherapy at Seaside Aesthetics. We are so excited to have Dr. Goldberg with us!

In his free time, Dr. Goldberg enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, gardening, and exercising.

Patty Tavella LME

Patty is a licensed aesthetician and has been in the Spa industry for over 12 years.  Patty is a graduate of the 1200 Hour Master Esthetics program at Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics.  Patty has a type 6 Aesthetics License and is also certified in Microdermabrasion, HydraFacial, Dermaplaning, Epionce skin care, Chemical peels, Waxing and Brow Artistry.  Besides her Aesthetic License, Patty is a licensed nail technician and has also furthered her education at the Palmer Institute of Massage Therapy.

Prior to her career in skincare, Patty grew up in Norwood, Massachusetts and went on to study at the New England school of Art in Boston and the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.  During her time at the University of Massachusetts Patty studied abroad in Dusseldorf, Germany and traveled throughout Europe.

Patty has lived in the North Shore for the past twenty years and currently resides in Beverly, Massachusetts.  Her home surroundings, parents, family and friends bring her joy and create a peaceful ambiance. Choosing a healthy lifestyle that includes a clean diet and exercise, Patty truly takes care of her entire being, including her largest organ! Patty is truly dedicated to skin care and passionate about age management. Her commitment to excellence, education, professionalism and detail to customer service allows her to provide the ultimate experience at Seaside Aesthetics to each and every one of her clients. 

Althea garivaltis

Althea grew up in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. She attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she earned her B.S. in Public Health and Psychology and went on to earn her M.S. in Business & Analytics. During her time at University of Massachusetts Amherst, Althea studied abroad in Sydney, Australia where she completed a 5 month internship with a top Australian public relations firm.

Althea spent three years post-grad living and working in New York City. She has a background in customer service, management, and leading teams. She has a passion for skincare and helping others. She believes aesthetic treatments should be used as a tool to empower patients helping them to look and feel their best. Her care incorporates a focus on the mind, body, soul connection, and how all three play an instrumental part in achieving overall wellness and happiness.

In her free time Althea teaches yoga at two North Shore studios, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones and pets, and being outside!
